Our consumption behavior is increasing more and more every year. We buy and buy, lose track of the amount of clothes we own and as a result pollute the environment. I explored this topic in my final thesis and developed the concept and appearance for the swapping app «Swapper».

The app has two areas or rather two main features. The first area is the user's own virtual closet, where they can photograph, upload and organize their clothes. This gives users an overview of their own clothes and therefore an overview of their consumption. If they then want to get rid of clothes, they can upload them to the second level, the swap area. For every item of clothing that they get rid of, they receive an exchange button. This button can be used to search and swap a new item of clothing in the swap area. The app is not only beneficial to the environment, but it also helps users to save money and space in their closets.

I developed the app in Adobe XD to visualize the idea and summarized the concept in a short video.
